Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Get Involved

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By uniting as a community that recognizes the value of all women, we can ensure no woman fights breast cancer alone. At Hope for the Journey, we wish to give hope to those facing breast cancer. We offer a variety of programs including providing financial assistance, counseling, spiritual support, and insightful knowledge through our support groups and educational programming. Our organization strives to empower those women that have and continue to fight breast cancer.

How can you make a difference?

1) Become a Volunteer

We're always looking for volunteers to assist us with our signature events, support groups, and educational programming. By giving your time, you're ensuring women in our community have access to necessary support and resources. We'd love to have your help, please contact us by phone or email.

2) Donate

We can't do it without you. We need the financial support of individuals and organizations in our community. Your donations allow us to offer workshops, financial assistance, and more. No amount is too small. Donate today by texting BEWELL to 44-321.

3) Join Our Board

Hope for the Journey is always looking for people with a positive attitude and passion for our mission to join our board of directors! We could use your expertise and talents to lead us to our next level of success. To learn more about the role of a board member, email Rosie Holley.

4) Become a Partner

Help us provide much needed care, services, supplies, and more to the women we serve. We work with a variety of businesses in our community to provide free or discounted products and services to those fighting breast cancer. Not only are you aiding us in our fight against breast cancer, you're also changing lives and building a stronger community of support.

5) Care for Yourself

One of the easiest ways you can help us is by understanding your own risks for breast cancer and participating in regular breast cancer screenings. Your life is precious!
